shrek
the computer animation is also Digital Art?
here I have this in mind: for example in the Shrek sequel we have Puss and Donkey, both are quite characters. Their behaviour in general and in ditails make them serious non-static characters or even actors in the virtual world I guess the time will come when there will be no need for viocing of these guys, and they will be completely digital, and having their own TV-shows with guests from real life. |

Computer art has it's place as long as it keeps it's place and does not try to sneak into fine art, which I have seen done. The artist? creates art on the computer because he cannot do it himself, then projects the image on canvas and paints it like a childs coloring book.

must disagree, i am a digital artist that actually paints my art with a computer. all my paintings are done in a paint program with brush strokes.
just because i prefer to paint digitally does not mean i cannot do it on canvas. i choose not to due to the space restrictions for a studio & the cost of such a production. please check out my artwork-- ..............http://www.gallery-worldwide.com/artist/Michelle_Decker.html................ |
