My father worked under Diego Rivera in Mexico City and was friends with another artist Zuniga. As a child, I did not have the caring nor knowledge of who those men were. My father came to this country and ended up working in a shipyard painting bottoms of ships. He would tell me his life stories and still I couldn't be bothered.
My oldest son Chris took up the brush about 5 years ago and has amazed me ever since. Even being his father, I can say he has talent. Please tell me how I can get his art out for others to see. He was accepted the San Francisco Institute of Art recently, so someone knows he has the gift. And that's what it is!
